Babies instinctively react to music! In this interactive parent and child class, families will learn delightful rhymes, lullabies, floor and lap games, action songs and dances that stimulate your baby’s natural response to music. Increase bonding with your baby and help them develop listening and motor skills while also enhancing language development, and a sense of balance and timing.

This class gets the child started with fun and high quality Orff instruments and features exciting musical games, songs, rhymes, and stories. These classes help develop a sense of timing and coordination as the child experiences solo and group playing on the Orff instruments. Solo singing games improve listening, pitch matching, and tone quality and ensure your child is off to a great start on their musical foundation. Parent participation is required until the child is comfortable and engaged in the class, then drop off encouraged.

Doroni is a self-taught glass artist with a working studio in North Saanich. Raised in Montreal, Doroni has had an eclectic background in the arts and a professional career in maths and psychology. A trip to an art gallery in Hawaii a decade ago changed her entire perspective and a new journey in glass exploration began. “Translating the vibrancy, fragility and beauty of the natural world into glass art is a passion for me - and glass is the perfect medium for this. I love how it is translucent, opalescent, flowing and fragile…like nature itself.” Her works are in private collections and have been carried in many galleries and venues. Locally her glass art is shown at Peninsula Gallery in Sidney.

If you adopt a dog from a rescue, your dog may not have had any prior training, so these classes will be ideal. Got a young dog going through the teenage “I can’t hear you” stage? These classes can help to re-establish the basic training that your pup was taught previously and get him listening to you again. Training can be instrumental in creating a bond with your puppy or perhaps your new rescue dog which helps to promote in your dog feelings of comfort and security. Training can also help to instill confidence into puppies and shy dogs! The classes cover: • • • • • •
